This happens because of their high chloride content, brine form hydrogen chloride or HCL acid and cause severe corrosion. Brine Corrosion Inhibitor for Calcium Chloride Brine prevents corrosion by forming an orgaanic film on the metal surface. It successfully prevents corrosion of carbon steel (LTCS, HTCS), mild steel, stainless steel (of all types),  copper and copper alloys.
